The Wikipedia Says...
The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a loosely-defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
The vicinity of the Bermuda Triangle is one of the most heavily traveled shipping lanes in the world, with ships frequently crossing through it for ports in the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean islands.
Cruise ships and pleasure craft regularly sail through the region, and commercial and private aircraft routinely fly over it.

Accidents or Mysterious Incidents....
On 30 January 1948, a BSAA Avro Tudor IV plane disappeared without trace.
Twenty-five passengers and a crew of six were on board The Star Tiger. No bodies or wreckage were found.

Almost a year to the day after the disappearance of the Star Tiger, another Avro Tudor IV belonging to BSAA vanished between Bermuda and Jamaica.
Exactly one hour after departure from Bermuda on 17 January 1949, the pilot of the Star Ariel sent a routine communication of his position.
But then the plane vanished without trace at 18,000 feet.
According to experts, this would have required a sudden catastrophe.
Again, no wreckage, debris or bodies were ever found.

The lost squadran Flight 19, the planes that went to search it, also disappeared.

What else is said about The Bermuda Triangle....
The Bermuda Triangle, the area of the Atlantic Ocean cornered by Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Miami, Florida.
The first person to report about Bermuda Triangle was Christopher Columbus.
He wrote in his journals that inside the triangle, the ship's compass stopped working and he also saw a fireball in the sky.

Theory 1:
Bermuda Triangle is one of the rare places on earth where the compass does not point towards Magnetic North.
Instead of that, it point towards true north, which creates confusion and that's why so many ships and planes lost its course in the triangle.

Thoery 2:
Another reason is Methane Hydrates
The scientists think deep deposits of oil and methane gas burst through the seabed and formed deep-ocean craters half a mile wide and 150 feet deep off the coast of Norway.Pockets of trapped Methane gas beneath the ocean. When unleashed Gas bubbles float to the surface reducing water density.
They speculate that the huge methane bursts could churn up water, affecting ships, and even escape into the atmosphere, which could even threaten aircrafts.

Theory 3:
Electronic fog interferes with electronic navigational tools causing them to go haywire for both ships and aircrafts.

Theory 4:
Strong underwater currents, The Gulf Streams flows away very quickly. Hence till date no debris or wreakage of lost ships and aircrafts were found till date.

All these theories are not baseless and they have scientific evidence.
It is sure that Earth's Gravity behaves differently and some unusual chemical conditions are present there.

But the mystery still remains, why it is so only in this place? Why this is not experienced by every Ship passing through it or Airplane that travels over it?
